Glow Recipe Capitalizes on Lip Blurring Craze with PDRN Tinted Balm

The treatment-first lip color blurs the line between makeup and skincare in six hues.

Lip blurring is one of fall 2026’s biggest makeup trends.

But one brand is evolving the trend to a balm format using one of skincare’s hottest ingredients with its new Vegan PDRN+ Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm.

The treatment-first lip color blurs the line between makeup and skincare. Its whipped, cushiony texture glides on via a precision doe-foot applicator, diffusing pigment into a soft-focus matte finish that won’t crack, flake or settle into fine lines, per the brand.

The heart of the formula is vegan Prickly Pear PDRN+, a lower molecular weight alternative to traditional animal-derived PDRN designed for enhanced absorption. It helps support the lip barrier and improve lip comfort, while hyaluronic acid, panthenol, red microalgae and colloidal oatmeal work together to hydrate, soothe and support healthier-looking lips.

In an independent clinical study on 30 subjects said lip hydration improved by 68% after one week of use. In a consumer use study on 30 subjects after one week of use, 96% agree the product did not settle into lip lines and 100% agree lips looked and felt plumper and fuller.

The PDRN Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm is available in six shades: Watermelon Hwachae (pale pink); Seoul Sunrise (nude pink); Red Bean Bun (berry mauve); Gochujang (deep red); Salt Bread (rosy beige); and Midnight Pocha (black cherry).

Vegan PDRN+ Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm retails for $22 at Sephora.com; Sephora at Kohl’s on Sept. 3; in stores on Sept. 25 and on glowrecipe.com on Sept. 7.
